Established in 1977, Wonderworks Children’s Museum of The Dalles, OR, has been entertaining, educating, and connecting families in the Mid-Columbia region for more than 30 years. Many families see us as their “life saver” – a hub of stimulating, engaging activities where they can meet and connect with other families with young children.
Currently, Wonderworks’ Playstation exhibit is located at the UUC Church. The Playstation is an indoor community playroom designed for our youngest community members, children ages 0-4, and their parents. We also provide a variety of affordable programs for a wider range of ages, including classes in music, art, cooking, parenting and gardening.
Wonderworks is a true grassroots organization: it has been created, operated, and sustained by families in the community for 31 years. It is the place where “Wisdom begins with Wonder”.
