ABOUT US

Wonderworks Children’s Museum of the Gorge has been entertaining, educating, and connecting families in the region since 1977. Many families see us as their “life saver” – a hub of stimulating, affordable activities for all ages including a year-round Playstation, annual Santa pictures & sleigh rides, a spring fair and classes in music, art, cooking, parenting and gardening.

We are a true grassroots organization: created, operated, and sustained by volunteers in the community for over 30 years. And we are currently in the process of purchasing and renovating a permanent building in downtown The Dalles.
