Aaron grew up in The Dalles until he was 12 years old, and visited Wonderworks regularly when it was in the basement of the current St Vincent de Paul, which was ACE Hardware at the time. He moved back to The Dalles to raise his family in 2005, and discovered Wonderworks through his wife, Katy, who credits the Children’s Museum with helping her cope as a new mother.
For the last four years Aaron has worked for Early Intervention & Early Childhood Special Education, which is a part of the Columbia Gorge Education Services District. His passion in life is children with special needs and advocating on their behalf. Any opportunity to give back to The Dalles community, especially relating to children and children’s issues, is a huge honor for him.
