Wonderworks Children’s Museum
Indoor Putt Putt Course
As the weather gets colder, are you looking for an exciting and different activity for your family right here in The Dalles? Wonderworks Children’s Museum of the Gorge is setting up an indoor Putt Putt mini-golf course in their future home at 206 Madison Street, downtown The Dalles, next door to Taco del Mar. The Putt Putt course will help Wonderworks Children’s Museum raise money to refurbish their new building while providing a safe place for the whole family to have fun during the winter months.
The mini-golf holes are being locally donated and constructed by Oliver’s Carpeting, Stu Fadness, Adams Construction, Southslope Woodworks, Mike Ford, Dan Boldt & Randy Skov, Mike Kelly, and Luke Throop.
Opening day is November 15th, 2009 and the course will be open Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4 pm.
Tickets are $5.00 for 18 and over, $4.00 for ages 3-18 years and seniors, and free for those two and under.
In addition, there will be a punch card where the 10th game is FREE!
The entire course will also be open for rental for two hours at a cost of $50.00; a great place to host to a birthday party, youth group retreat, holiday office party or other special event. We can even help you arrange for catering, including alcohol, from Rivertap Pub (www.rivertappub.com).
We are also asking for your help by donating any old putters and balls that you might have. Whether they are right or left handed, relatively new or really old, it doesn’t matter! Please contact Kristen at (541) 993-6858 to arrange for pick-up. Thank you for your continual support of Wonderworks Children’s Museum and our community!
